I guess there are two possible ways of interpreting what the unspoken half of "It's not a matter of whether I see you as a woman or not" actually is. I personally think what the kid wanted to say is:" It's because you see me as a man" but couldn't, so all we have is a half of a sentence. At least a trans kid is personally something preferable to me over the other option
