In Japan, the Nikaidō clan is a historical Samurai clan.

I know it's probably just coincidence, but the clan emblem and brief presence in Mino province are really throwing me for a loop, as I can't help but consider the possibility that they may have had some sort of association with the Azai.

Just because someone know how to fight that doesn't mean they are Yakuza, an ordinary person who is trained skillful person can be that good, or someone that rich that could afford best trainer or they have contact with them like nikaidou family
