This feels a lot like the old style of yuri that came out of Japan in the 2000s, which was always a lot of gay undertones and hemming-and-hawing to avoid an actual relationship. I sure am glad we've moved past that with the popularity of Bloom into You, Citrus, and others.

This PE teacher is bizarrely casual and fine with spending an hour hanging out and being flirted with by a student after school, the reason of which is never mentioned? I thought maybe it would be something to do with her home life when that cropped up but then that got squashed quick.

I'm going to guess that there's some reason for that. Maybe the fantasy of manga and anime allows Japanese authors to explore relationships that are IRL often times stand-off-ish and polite as you put it. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, as fiction doesn't need to obey or even portray reality.

Haven't finished it yet, but what exactly does she have to say to sensei...? With the way she's acting isn't it way too obvious?
And I mean, no matter how "unfamiliar with love" or whatever sensei is, she'd need to have been living under a rock all her life to not realise that her student's behaviour isn't normal...

EDIT: Just read chapter 4. She has been living under a rock after all...
EDIT 2: It feels like we never got a conclusion. I'm not necessarily against open endings, but I feel that it didn't fit well for this one.

I noticed this shortly after I uploaded this, but I made a mistake and didn't change the author name from "Kabocha" to "Misaki Tenmu." I was originally going to add a different series first by Kabocha but changed it at the last second...

Ahhhhhhh, i remember this one, i really like this artist

I sometimes enjoy wishy washy yuri, but only if one of the characters ends up fessing up at the end. This however, feels more like a yuri crush than an actual yuri seems the teacher seem to care about the student in a non-romantic way. Well, i hope the author updates it in the near future and develops the romance much more.

scanlation quality went up so much from chapter to chapter. good work. kind of a let down ending, but still a fun read. thanks <3
