I love the more abstract chapters, but I think the simple ones like this one that just show Shijima getting a bit less cold (ironically) and aloof are also very important, and of course it's just really cute to see her and Majime getting closer. I wonder if the sudden snow is an effect of Shijima's sister's new mysterious contraption.

The simplest explanations are usually the ones that are right, I think this chapter is just a Yuru Camp reference because Egg is voiced by Nadeshiko in Kadokawa's youtube channel.

I'm still crossing my fingers for the Girl's Last Tour anime adaption to be completed, but I would love to see this done justice in a proper adaption as well.

It's rare to see niche stuff get the love it deserves but every once in a while the stars align and it happens.

Are that beer can and that donut stuck to permanently stuck to the heads of the teacher and Sumida now? Probably not, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. I really hope to see this animated someday.

By the way, the mangaka panpanya makes short stories with a really similar vibe to this series. An Invitation from a Crab is a good collection that's available in English.

That last page is really touching in a way that I can't quite pin down.
