I finally found it, thanks. I missed a chapter..damn. I could see how people would see it as groping/harassment(cultural thing). As for me, on that scene’s context, I viewed the butt slap and touching as physical comedy. If groping is equated to sexual harassment, then I couldn’t see it as such because slapping and touching a friend’s butt is just playful skinship where I’m from, but of course there are some who are uncomfortable with it. So in the end, I think people’s opinion on Yatsude in that scene is a product of their culture/environment.

Edited for clarifications. Also, it’s still groping, but people’s attitude towards it varies cuz of culture/environment.

I think Yokoe's personality is going to be a big plot progression point, because I think that the super-aho Yokoe we see most often is mostly a facade. She is, of course, by and large, an idiot (2 hours looking for a remote? You dork...), but she's a lot sharper than she lets on. We see snippets of it here and there--such as aceing a science exam collaterally, or being far less silly in flashbacks, or her introspective bedroom chapter. But from what we've seen so far, Yokoe changed a lot from the crucial "it's just a joke." Even Kei notices how, in the chapter early on about cutting her hair, Yokoe has somehow become "like this." It's Yokoe's defense mechanism for keeping the status quo, because if her love and everything else is all "just a joke," then she never has to confront the possibility of Kei's serious answer. Yatsude, too, in this latest chapter comments on the peculiar distance she has felt between the two of them; a distance that Yokoe is maintaining on purpose.

I can't wait to see Kei's side of all of this.

I think in chapter 14, it shows how Kei too, even way back, already started maintaining a sort of distance. They're both pretty much scared of going there.

Yatsude probably hung out with Fuji, who is the most predictable person on the planet, and somehow convinced herself that she's a mastermind because Fuji constantly asks her for advice. Now that she'd dealing with some real insanity, she's pissed at her lack of insight, and further annoyed by how Fuji and Tsubaki are both growing their friend circles. Therefore, Yatsude's tendency to randomly grab everything within sight is actually a coping mechanism that she uses to deal with all her friends eventually leaving her behind. She's lesbian Barney Stinson, y'all.

I'd be amazed if she got it exactly, but it still seems like she figured them out pretty well. She even noticed the distance between them. It's also funny cause what prevents her from thinking they're a couple is also one of the reasons that keep Kei from thinking about things too deeply in the first place: Yokoe's idiocy (purposeful or not).

I've only seen people explicitly say the chapter number if they're not talking about the most recent chapter. Maybe per-chapter comment threads would be easier to navigate afterwards, but Dynasty just has them per series. I bet this wouldn't be an issue if releases were spread further apart, and we're close to catching up to the raws, so that point is coming.

Just reread v1 extra 2 since I forgot about it, but looks like she'd already started suspecting they had a "different" kind of friendship even then, so she was pretty accurate. And as for extra 1, I don't know what you mean by how the bg characters "know exactly what's going on" when they're thoughts are just "the idiot couple is at it again". Do you mean they got the "idiot couple" right? Yeah, they're both idiots but they're definitely not a "couple". That's the issue. Unless I'm talking about the wrong extra here(?).

I just want to point out that Kei is a great artist. A true visionary.

Ah yes, bungee jumping. In which Kaname is the bridge, Piyo is the angry lady threatening to jump off, and Tsubaki is the long, stretchy rope that simultaneously motivates Piyo to dive and keeps her from actually falling away. #Symbolism.
