Good catch. Then again, the first flashback to Kisaki's younger days shows her with a tree-ifed leg that she completely lacks in her current state as well as in another flashback. Maybe her condition has an element of involuntary shapeshifting, where parts of her body shift back and forth from human flesh to tree-like state from time and to time?

Actually, I looked over every panel in the story so far, and the only time she has a noticeably human hand is on the last page of chapter 4. The author's done a good job so far always drawing her hands as tree-like structures, so I'm not sure what that means.

I like how Kisaki's becoming more and more of a human though. Maybe that's the real physical her, with normal hands and hair, but she's just so sloppy, out-of-place, etc that her tree-form is how others normally perceives her.

It's nice to see her branching out.
