Okay. So this is a trend lol. I’ve only seen one other series start like this, but it was an isekai yuri anime. It was exactly the same at the start that I felt it had to be some sort of prompt for authors. “What direction can you take this?” Something like that. So there’s definitely other series with this introduction, huh… Anyone know the first story that used it?

While it not be the first, my favorite that uses this particular set-piece at the beginning is MagiRevo.

I really hope that thing didn't follow their trail and eat everyone they built a house for, but its range of abilities just screams that being the case. That is, assuming it assimilates abilities of those it consumes.

Probably too quick of a turnaround between this and last chapter for it to have happened, but if it killed the Korpokkurs, I'll be especially pissed.

I wonder if getting interest for the rights from one of the major publishers (Seven Seas, Yen Press, etc.) that localizes stuff in the States would be a big enough occurrence that would help with that.

I've been tempted to submit this series in a reader survey at Seven Seas for that reason.

Man, I'd have been a bit harsher if I was Mikawa. I'm sure this has been hammered to death, but both Yamada and Kase need to stop being softer than dough.

This does feel like some cosmic justice for Kase, though. It seems to me that she and Mikawa don't get along the best and now having to live in very close proximity are her just desserts for letting this stupid melodrama drag on.

Random: while I was at work today, lost in thought, it occurred to me that I don't think I've ever seen any isekai stories do any omake features/chapters detailing what's going on in the world they were pulled from (maybe a memory fault, but I digress).

With that in mind, I thought it would be a fun omake to show the office that fired Natori in utter meltdown, not realizing how vital she was to smooth operations.

And thus did planet Earth cede its place in the cosmos to the glory of a newborn neutron star.

Cleared of all charges? Looks like it was making off with that sheet though...
