I'm thinking that she's not really understanding her own feelings yet, but now that the concept of girls dating each other has been brought up she might think about it more and more.

Nanaki with the overly dramatic dagger. Also, telling the girl who you just rejected that you only want to be best friends with the girl you clearly don't know what type of feelings you have for her yet is kind of a dick move. I mean, getting flustered and thoughts of how beutiful that person is when you see your friends naked body doesn't seem like a normal reaction to have if you only see that person as a friend. Fujishiro just wants to be Kurokawa's super duper ultra amazing best friend who is closer to her than anyone else ever has been or will be. Nothing to see here, folks!

Edit: I might mention that I'm glad Izumi has come out of creepo mode, though. Plus, she even got some closure, if only a clear rejection. Anyway, the manga is truly living up to its name.

To me it looked like Izumi didn't buy Nanaki's friendship explanation about what she feels for Kurokawa. She understands Nanaki isn't ready yet to accept the true nature of those feelings, aka gay feelings because she herself probably went through the same denial stage.

I'm surprised I'm yet to see a comment of Loralei being angry how her ship sunk.
