Thank You.

I want to kick the responsible party in the shins every time I have one of these dramatic twist stories ruined by blatant spoiling tags.

My reading of the last few pages is that Nami is an actual ghost herself, one that apparently hasn't realized she's dead for some reason (which is ironic, considering what she said about the nature of ghosts).

We're not gonna tag it, please don't ask.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

That's not going to stop the flow of tag suggestions.

Thank You.

And I would bodily block you and throw you to the ground / against the nearest wall if you try to do that on my watch. Tags exist for a reason, and nobody forces you to look at them.

I'm honestly amazed I didn't see the twist coming

For my part, I was surprised that the twist was the opposite of what I thought (as in, I thought Mayu was the ghost that's unaware of the fact that she's dead).

I liked it. Sad but endearing.

Well, this wasn't something I wanted to read before I went to bed.

Also, you can say you not going to add tags, but aren't tags added so people who won't like the story know they can skip it?

Also, wouldn't the angst tag work here without ruining the twist?

the ghost tag isn't needed though since it literally spoils the whole story, if the fact that she was a ghost was outright given to us in the first place, it wouldn't be a spoiler, thus needing a tag

Yes, no one forces anyone to look at tags, but they are almost impossible to miss in the first place

Is Mayu actually oblivious to the fact the Nami is a ghost or is she trying to prevent Nami from realizing that she is a ghost by telling her that ghosts do not exist so Nami doesn’t realize the truth about her own existence and then disappear into the afterlife?

Or maybe Nami knows that she is a ghost. Maybe she is trying to subtly tell Mayu that she’s dead by telling her that she can see apparitions and to stay away from her ( as other people will just see Mayu talk to thin air). And the lie that is referred to at the last narration is Mayu’s insistence that Nami is alive.

The way I see it, both of these are correct.
