Funny enough, in the latest Kagaya Inn chapter, Tsubomi (the Zorra-chan) might actually develop an intimate relationship with Kuki, her sister. Therefore, the question following that chapter is: which will prevail, wincest or Zorra-chan?

I've seen it many times, some chara standing on a cliff overlooking the sea, another chara comes, there's an accident or misunderstanding or whatevs and both fall into the sea... it's a common trope that you see a lot

You're right, of course, and I'd like to add something: when it comes to manga and yuri, there are like a HUNDRED tropes that are even more common and are constantly used, reused & overused in all our favorite stories and series – and nobody finds anything wrong with that.

"The ex returns" eg is so effing common, the Spanish-speaking community of yuri fans has coined a name for the ex-love of one of the girls in the main couple who comes back to town and sparks (willingly or not) a conflict in their relationship: they call her "Zorra-chan." You know how the speeding truck that bumps characters and sends them to an isekai is universally known as "Truck-kun," right? Well, this woman is Zorra-chan, just as simple. Like this one, or this one, or even this one, lol. It doesn't matter if she really is a slut (that's the meaning of zorra) or not, when she appears everyone goes: "Oh look, it's Zorra-chan, she's here to raise shit again."

This is hilarious, one learns something every day.

With this one, the Spanish scanlation reaches chapter 6 and is up to date with the Japanese releases. (Surprisingly, we're still at ch.1 here...)

My brain keeps wanting to think of the two MC as Chiaki and Harumi from "Sekai de Ichiban Oppai ga Suki!"...

And last, we have the 3rd girl, the grow up one, Kodama in her extreme generosity decide to give her the twisted family, she is the daughter of her dad and his mistress but the mom is kind enough to let her live with them and the other daughter, who is one of her classmate. Said mistress is suposs to bea prostitute btw because why not and when Ashima get back in the end of the chapter, she kiss her "sister" because of the bad mouthing her "sister and her friends have done to her. Oh and she get bullied too but she doesn't seem to care one bit.

So yeah, it's really a Kodama manga.

TBF to her she's a rather timid person to begin with, entirely new to this teaching business and empathically not over all the bad shit that led to her current life changes in the first place ergo extra fragile emotionally. And hazing the new teacher on introduction is something of a hallowed animango tradition.

Oh Ashima cares all right, she's just trying to tough it out and put up a strong aloof front. Case in point her obvious anger and pain when she finds her indoor(?) shoes in the trash bin and the naked bitterness in that caustic barb she throws at her half-sister (incidentally apparently named Sakura, going by the nickname her friends use) at the end of the chapter. Note also that the bit about her mother being a prostitute is probably just a typically exaggerated rumour as neither of the sisters has so far indicated it to have any substance. Indeed Sakura actually has a tendency to go visibly quiet and carefully expressionless when her friends trash-talk her sibling which combined with her apparently genuine and personal worry over the latter's late homecoming hints she may personally not be on board with the shitty treatment Ashima gets at all, just unwilling to openly take a stand against it (and thus risk being subjected to the same ostracization). If so that'd make her something of a reprise of Shiina from Cocytus and Ashima certainly has some parallels with Kurosaki from the same... plus vague incestuous tension that'd probably make Mochi nod approvingly ofc.

Ashima and Sakura are like reincarnations of Hotaru and Yuma of NTR, with Ashima not being, at least so far, as manipulative. But now they are sisters so I don't know what's worse LOL Kodama knows how to create that uneasy feeling

I like to imagine their scenario got started when Kodama and Mochi met by chance in a bar and had an impromptu brainstorming session over drinks; and when they were done they gazed upon what they had wrought and lo, they saw it was metal as fuck.

Then Kodama managed to call first dibs on the concept by virtue of being somewhat less smashed. o3o
