You can have a significant height difference between you and another person (which is what we're having here; Hino doesn't seem actually that much bigger in build than Koguma, just taller) without having much difference in hand/foot size. You just need really long legs, maybe even a longer torso. Variations in human body proportions can be quite selective; that's how you can have people with the exact same height but significant differences in arm length, for example.

Between series like this one and Hana Ni Arashi it seems obvious that the Japanese have somehow finally solved the Infinite Cuteness Equation, so that each episode is exponentially cuter than the previous one.

Nah, totally, I get that. It's just nice to see, since in the previous chapters Koguma is shown as being kind of on the small side (even compared to the other classmates, Hino commented on it), that she also has these cute, little hands, too. I just meant that the contrast is not seen often in yuri (as far as I've noticed).

i love how you can see koguma's blush even on the back of her head :P

Koguma doesn't mind being the bottom, but she doesn't mind being the top either.
