Interesting that the first appearance of the new manager is right at the end of an Iwashita/Tsubasa chapter. I don't think it's a coincidence.

My prediction: new manager is a lesbian huntress who will fancy Tsubasa as soon as she sees her, and (ab)use her authority as Tsubasa's boss to coerce her into sexx0r. Then it will be time for Iwashita to be a hero and rescue the damsel in distress.

When she was first introduced I thought she was going to be some sort of seductress or that she'd try to go after one of the girls to add some drama, but that definitely doesn't seem to be the case. I'll look forward too seeing how this new pair works into the existing dynamics. Hopefully we'll see more of her partner.

I get the feeling that was meant to be a red herring. Characters designed like that tend to be villainous, and I think we were supposed to assume that, only to have her be totally rad and even represent what all the other couples might achieve. Keeps the tension going while the "twist" approaches.
