Alright. I’m willing to give this a chance. Even if it ends up bad, I’ll keep reading, cause I’ve been on this boat since 2013 and I ain’t jumping ship any time soon, but I think there’s real potential here. If Saburouta can:
Upload more frequently
Have Mei and Yuzu push the plot along in a way that isn’t infuriating
Not introduce new characters every arc
Have the characters motivations match their actions

We could get a pretty decent series out of Citrus+

I think this is occurring after her proposal but long before their actual marriage.

It's literally just two weeks after chapter 41 balcony scene.

So, it's a sequel? I guess SU couldn't really work with how the original was panning out towards the end, so that was why she decided to pull--what I like to call--a "timeskip sequel," when the story continues from an in-story timeskip.

Well...I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited, but after seeing how the first one turned out, I'm keeping my expectations low. I want to see a few things done right this time around: more coherent writing and storytelling, more attention to the side characters, actual character development, less drama, less stupidity from the characters, and less sexual assault.

So far, it's actually really well done. The cute moments were fluffy, Mei wasn't being a mood-swinging ass, and no one tried to come between Yuzu and Mei. But I've learned to keep an eye out for anything over-the-top dramatic, so we'll see how it goes. But so far, so good.

What if citrus + end, and got another sequel, and then the sequel named Citrus S???

I don't care what happens as long as they're finally a wholesome couple , smash, and Harumatsu GET TOGETHER.

I think what I like most about this sequel is seeing Mei's softer side instead of her just acting like a coldhearted b**** the entire time

Well, I kinda liked Citrus, but the angst was frustrating and the ending rushed. Still, after finding out about the release of the first chapter of the spin-off earlier today, I'm kinda excited, since this was my first yuri manga (second, if we count those that I feel ashamed of having read) , but, in any case, it is unlikely of becoming one of my favourite ones, given some pretty good mangas, wether classics, recent or ongoing, that I liked better. Still, let's hope this won't be AS drama-filled or angsty as the original.
