I've been reading this series for a long time, but seeing "Happily ever after" there did bring a smile to my face. Some people will dislike it for 'vagueness' but the relationship between the two has been pretty straightforward since the 1/8 mark. One is in love with the other, and to the other, she is her most precious person. There's no need to put a straightforward label on that is there?
It was nice watching them simply live for such a long time. Sometimes a story simply concluding is nice. They're just living life.

I'm happy that their happy. Even if it feels like a copout not letting them actually be married by the end of it. I guess they are in their own way.

Not a bad ending at all and they clearly care about each other and I'm super happy for them. But damnit did I not want conformation after such a long series. It feels very Himawari-san when it comes to the ending using this because it was also a longer series with this they're living together kind of ending. They're together yes but eh guess I just wanted more.

Still rambling aside I'm happy for them and adore them both. Glad they continue to be happy together <3

It has been a long long road. It is always good to see a new chapter. So this is the final till there is a final final chapter then another final chapter comes around.

I wonder if pointing out the short fingernails and saying it was for stuff was reference to that semi joke about lesbians keeping short nails for "things".

So it just randomly ends like that huh? I won't lie, I didn't love this manga, I'm not even sure I particularly liked this manga. It was something to read though, and I guess there at least, it served it's purpose.

If this ever gets an R18 doujin, I hope its kept as light and fluffy as this.

I won’t deny the quality and I love this author (she wrote several of my very favorite one shots).

Still, there is no single manga that has infuriated me more than this one, for reasons I won’t get into as a matter of blood pressure.

I noticed this immediately since my mind is in the gutter, but between the grinding vagueness of their relationship, and the lack of evidence that they are having a super-large amount of sex (one doujin implied they fucked at least once but that's about it), I feel like in this context Yukiko is unironically not making, and maybe not even thinking of, a lesbian sex joke here.

Thanks for "finishing" this series. Thinking back, I really loved reading room for two in the beginning. Never stopped reading it but I personally believe that the story meandered for too long. This doesn't really feel like a conclusion, which works since the story essentially isn't over if chapters are still released and I mean what should have happened, they apparently are a platonic couple and they are happy with that. Although even now Kasumi is pretty much taking advantage of Sakurako even if she is okay with it because she loves her and also taking care of her.

A good point for the "last" chapter in my opinion could have been when they moved in together, just story-wise. Afterwards to keep the structure the manga could rename itself into home for two or something and keep going like for example Citrus did.

Frankly this sites inability to understand relationships beyond the concept of a married couple is baffling at times. They love each other (seemingly slightly differently) but haven't let that difference get in the way of them spending time with their favorite person. Do people just need them to bang on screen to care?
