Yeah...I've been really enjoying this series so far, even though it can be a bit simple I love the main duo, but god the mom about to reveal something only to suddenly be taken by the plot disease that silences you when you're about to say something important...is the kind of writing that really frustrates me.

I think she'll still own up, at least verbally. The real effect of stuff like this feels like generating as much quick empathy from the readers as possible. It's still a bit cheap because it's so abrupt, unless I'm forgetting hints that she's been very sick?

I really continue to dislike her mom. She mentioned that Yuu is her daughter but has to point out that she didn't expect her to show up etc like she again thought hse contributed NOTHING.

I knew they were just gonna try and brush what her mom did off with an apology. I get now their is something wrong with her but she shouldn't just be forgiven so easily. Call me heartless with the way it ended I just don't feel Yuu should just forgive her all of a sudden.
