I found this back and went to search for the ending... but so disappointed. No spoil but don't get your hope high either. I think the epilogue is what depressed me the most.
So funny that when this first got released here, I was so happy to see a similar story to the other one about the guy who wasn't a guy but without the misunderstanding about genders and feelings directly explicit but now it is the other one that does it better.
At least I can remove it from my subscriptions.

This manga makes me feel so many nice emotions. That use of the "I care" is very meaningful for me. It reminds me of my relationship with my girlfriend because before we were together, we used to say that...too scared to say more but wanting to get the feeling across still. It is really a wholesome story. Thanks for all the hard work in translation!

I love that story and the main couple so much but I dislike that third wheel girl so much also. Too much spoiling from Umi and she deserved none at all. I think she is easy the most unlikable character out there. This will sound mean but I can't wait for her heart to be broken.

I really dislike the parents, both of them. I wonder if the story will really redeem them or will they just always stand in the way ? Children are not their parent's tool or even property. Let her be happy, she has done more than enough for this world...

I saw all the tags and I was gonna avoid it...but I got curious why the first and last chapter were released on the same day. And reading the comments here made me wanna try the story to see the happy ending. I am glad they got to meet each other at all.

I super love this story and I have been following it since the very beginning, buying the books in physical and all. But I am super bothered by the nail thing it's awful to see...a really awful trigger.

I am glad there is gonna another part because I hope she understand being a lesbian is amazing. It took me time to accept but I would not change it for anything.

I keep reading this because I love the artstyle but it is hard to be invested when one of the character is so unlovable... I feel Frost is like that rough guy living in the forest all muscles no brain and I cannot wait for the story to go beyond that and finally get some character evolution. On the contrary the side couple is way nicer and I want more of them !

That last scene feels weirdly dark for a reunion sex moment... but I liked the happy ending I guess.

This alone helped me get through the afternoon. I am so happy to see a new chapter since it is one of my favorite series <3

Yes disappointed it was not yuri but I like this idea of the mc becoming the editor at the end, both because it allows her to stay close to her passion and because it allows me to think about their future as a potential ship. I prefer when the author gives me the yuri but it won't stop me from picturing it if it is not present.

My take was that Kazumi (tomboy) started working at the civil engineering business of Nachi's family (thus her hauling boxes around in front of trucks, like the trucks we see on page 2.) Meanwhile Nachi might have taken the hostess job for some income until the theater starts doing better. Which it hasn't ("skin of my teeth") but isn't dead yet either.

Basically they were forced to work, but swapped the jobs pressed onto them, which is a more appropriate configuration (tomboy Kazumi works with trucks, dress-up Nachi works with men.)

Also they became closer... somehow? Weak link, there.

Also, the math confuses me. They're 4 years apart, but Nachi has graduated from college, while Kazumi is considering dropping out of high school. Isn't college in Japan 4 years? Or did Nachi do the equivalent of an associates (2 year)? But the sign said "womens university", sounds like the full deal.

Thanks because I was feeling a bit meh after reading the story but your take helped see it in a better light for me. I think it is a waste still that Nachi went to work as hostess but just my opinion.

It didn't take long for a third wheel to show up...hope it doesn't become too anoying because this serie is too cute for that.

The vow where they just swear they will keep being best friends forever as a married couple and not change anything from their life....back to chapter 1. Honestly this could be read in a loop almost.

First time I think the one shot was enough and better and we didn't need a long version...

Nice change to have proper ace yuri couple. For me they really developped well and I am glad they had a proper confession and all before it ended. But I will definitely miss them and wish I could see a bit of everyday life after.
