I was thinking it'd be funny if she said, when Rachel got morally stunlocked by the creepy silver woman, "I actually couldn't give a shit about that; waste 'em, Rachel."

But instead she gave a rather nice and reassuring speech denouncing the cultist lady and reaffirming her connection to, and care for, Rachel.
Which was very nice, and in the whole, a smarter move.

I don't know if it's rude to ask but I was curious, why does this one's art feel very... unpolished? Like stock image umbrellas and invisible phones. It doesn't really take much away from the enjoyment of the series but I just couldn't help but think about it.

3D assets are pretty much the norm for most series at this point due to the prevalence of digital art, and normalization of faster weekly releases, but some artists hide it better than others.

This is probably one of the illustrator’s first projects. They still don’t vary their line weight or blend the 3D assets in very well, but it’s still much better than generative “art.” And honestly, I enjoy seeing beginner projects like this—they inspire me to keep studying drawing.

Agreed. It may not be "good," but they pull through when it really matters in terms of character expressions and the like. I never had trouble telling what's going on and felt the mood was communicated.

I'm not a big fan of CGI, but such is life nowadays. At least it's not AI drawings.
