Well...that was one hell of a chapter.

Also something I noticed: Who was in Chapter 16 with the "Hani" tic? I do notice that, despite the entire Magical Girl thing...no talking mascot yet. (And same with how they got their powers)

This manga was sadly a mess, although I not sure of the exact point WHEN it faceplanted into the ground....although if I had to pick, maybe Ch5?

Looking at mangadex, uh. The scans here are missing an entire page. (Likely the reason it jumps from 3 to 5)

I feel like I missed something important with the overflowing glass and the dripping panel on p. 14. Certainly hope Niji comes over more often, even she deserves a caring mother.

It isn't overflowing but the glasses has ice in it (and said drink is likely cold) and the humidity is causing a build up around the glass...still super ominous.

I just realized between when Yura got told to "Stay" and the end of the chapter...Yura is still in the same position. Love that attention to detail.

I hope someone remembers what that manga was since it sounds interesting. you did say the ending is bad though, so maybe not. What’s wrong with the ending? Also, I’m sad that a unique manga like this got cut short for whatever reason.

Found it, it was called The Sisterly Situation of the Bakeneko Hazuki.

Not the worst "Sudden ending" yuri manga I have seen but doesn't prevent it from hurting. (I can't remember what it was called, but it featured the MC trying to avoid her love from finding out about the demon in her? It limped to death and man it was sad)

Oh wow, Volume 1 of this was 8 chapters, but Volume 2 is gonna be nowhere near as big. That...is sad.

I did check out reviews for the LN on Amazon JP to see what others thought and it seems to be mixed. Some of the reviews also have some spoilers as well so heads up on that.
