Omg, thank you for uploading this here. I'd been looking forward to this one since I read about the plot in an article!

So many things to love. I love that it gets sufficiently scary, and the art style handles both moe and guro pretty well so far. This is basically everything I could ever want... (which I say, about everything nice)

alright! I always love me some not-scp. There's just an infinite amount of fun horror mystery that you can get out of "here's something weird figure out how to deal with it"

[Ch 1 ~ 3] This is interesting. Cool designs, too; Azu with her horn and Kino with her cerebrally-attached jellyfish.
When Azu gets 'awoken', what's the original that she's yelling? I suspect it's "tadaima", but that surely would have been broken up into "{I} {am} {back}" between the three bubbles. Mysterious.
I wonder what the linkage is between Azu's immortality and Kino's ability to "wake her up". To the point where I'm not sure that Azu is actually immortal? From Ch 1 & 2 it seems like once Azu "dies" that's it - she's out of commission, and Kino has to restore her. And then in Ch 3 we already have backstory teasing and foreshadowing - it's doing a lot of work!
Honestly kinda hyped to read this and see how it goes; this kind of setting and character development is quite high level, so it's always interesting to see how authors/mangaka/etc pull it off.

Okay I only read the first chapter so far and I’m utterly hooked, I do think it should be tagged yuri. One, because of how the two MC’s interact (which could be platonic too ofc, but I mean…it could also be romantic), and SECONDLY because penguins are very well known for them being naturally gay. While the second reason isn’t really the best reason, but the author is already putting penguin comparisons on the first chapter, it’d be nice if they used the Mc’s to show that penguins can also be ohhhh ya know, gay.

Even if it’s never yuri, I’d still read it. The way it makes my guts twist is a high that is on the edge of the line of interest and genuine disgust. Also penguins. penguins are cool.

I assume Azu's immortality isn't conditional, she could probably come back given some time without Kino's ability, but Kino's ability probably cuts the downtime significantly by healing her rapidly even if she wouldn't die from a horrific injury.

Uploader here. I'm not directly involved with the scanlation of this manga, but I'm married to the person who is.

I never took off my yuri goggles from the Bee Train days and frankly this already reads as yuri to me, but I played it safe with the tags for now. I will say that, depending on Kino's reaction to what she just heard in chapter 3, I may decide "yeah no one can possibly claim this is just subtext" as soon as next chapter and update the tags accordingly.

Damn doc, you're making the organization look extremely incompetent. Losing field operatives faster than D-class personnel is already suspect, but keeping a nervous wreck almost guaranteed to cause more harm than good around... It's like they want an apocalyptic security breach.

Presumably the entire point is that they're exactly the sort of incompetents you wouldn't want in charge of handling life-and-death decisions. It is a horror setting, after all. They aren't known for optimistic views on humanity. Does make one wonder how the species managed to survive the setting this long, though.

But the yuri 'subtext' is slathered on thicker than jelly. That's a treat.

Edit: The de-aging jellyfish thing is a reference to turritopsis dohrnii, aka immortal jellyfish, isn't it? Can revert itself to a polyp stage and regrow to counteract injury and aging.

Protag duo are the product of immortality-seeking mad science, I bet. Not that those are long odds...

Honestly, I really like Hana-San so far. Cause all of the trembling she does during the conversation, i know should be trembling because of her fear or whatever, but i like to think that she’s trembling because she feels kinda guilty for asking them to either work for the company forever or to be locked up forever, after saying that she’d help cure them. (Shh ik that this is a completely out there take but let me be delusional)

Idk i love her and i hope that in the future she helps the MC’s :>

Nice to see this series here, I've been enjoying it so far. The author seems to be a big fan of tkmiz. They worked on one of the chapters of the official Girls' Last Tour anthology, this manga is being uploaded and advertisted alongside tkmiz's new Fragments of a Layered City, Azu and Kino look like Yuuri and Chito and they have weird stuff stuck to their heads like the cast of Shimeji Simulation.

good art and interesting story, though admittedly i find the bodysuits and age questionably fanservicey, especially since the two apparently don't remember anything after waking up (presumably including their age?). Anyway, for the birthday house arc, i like how it gestures at a story without explicit confirmation (e.g. an aberrant kid so happy about his birthday that he made it May 12 forever?). looking forward to what happens next.

also I think I got baader-meinhof phenomenon'd because I encountered the phrase "first penguin" very recently (can't recall from where) and now this scanlation shows up.

SCP Foundation is generally extremely competent, and it's a horror setting, often because of what a competent all-powerful organization can do to people without oversight or publicity.

Doing an incompetent organization is just a worse story, imho. And I do not like, here, the japanese thing of "please enjoy watching these two very young girls get abused by everyone". The modern extremely progressive and heavily LGBT SCP writing staff, whatever you might neutrally think of the work quality nowadays, would never do something like this.
