I think these two are so good together, they some of the most believable yuri I've seen in a while. Like you can obviously tell there was some immediate attraction going on, and the way they each respond to the differences the other has made in their life, and they way they've grown to support one another. It's so good. I love when we see the side of Luliam that's freaking out or grappling with her feelings when she's alone and doesn't have to be a good host, it's really humanizing.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, given how the entire population of this world seems to be biologically female and, thus, predominantly lesbian. The sympathetic principle ("like attracts like") is very often an unspoken assumption in any fictional magic system.

Yeah, pretty much. Right now it feels like the only reason those two would have a chance at succeeding where others, talented mages failed is plot armor. "If it's you too, I believe you might be able to create the perfect seal... for some reason."

I get that the story needed to infodump on Sol Oculus to progress the plot, but it was clumsy.

It’s so interesting! There’s been hints of it before, but yeah it’s really coming to the front now. It feels like the girls are ready for it now, and I’m so interested to see what kind of depth and complexity it adds to the emotions. This is an undertaking far beyond what we been thinking from the beginning, it’s like having the path to a much more fraught True End revealed when you were just going for the Normal End. But you could really die in that pursuit.
