For some reason is tagged as shojo on baka updates, but it’s a seinen and all official sites confirms that, as for genre it’s only tagged as SF and Gag manga (no yuri either).
I assume it will be like Magical Girl 201 (or Stupid Woman 26:00) at least, but if it doesn’t I don’t really care, the lolita is all I need.

As a old sci-fi grognard, I appreciate a story that tackles such a patently apolitical and uncontroversial topics as an upper class replacing the workers with robots so they can herd them into ghettos and never have to look at them again.

On the other hand, those are the slowest combat androids ever. I don't recall Asimov's 0th law of robotics saying"If a human is having a dramatic character arc moment, pause everything you're doing and let them finish speaking."

I'm afraid my shelf will soon be full of books i can't even read. The art for this one is so gorgeous too! another pink x black yuri... don't mind if i do.... also love that all the android so far seem to be women? what a poignant commentary on the use of women as tools, whether intentional or not.

edit: looking at the likes for this on takecomic, ouch. latest chapter released earlier this month has 300 likes compared to the previous chapters 1k+ likes. may we one day be free of this pay-per-chapter release model.

It’s kind of funny that online magazines keep the paper format system (paying for each chapter = buying the magazine each month) instead of coming up with a more ingenious (capitalist) way to encourage purchasing and mitigate fast-consumption, people loss interest too fast nowadays. But if the only option was to buy the whole volume/magazine, people would complain, and in some way it is true that they would be wasting the option that the online format gives of only buying the work you like. I personally can't think of any other way to handle this. I've read that online magazines have changed a lot how people interact with manga, for better and for worse.

^Wish i had an idea for an "ideal" model. It's hard to say for genres that are niche to the general public. the only real answer i can think of is funding art for the sake of it without a profit-first narrative, because with any current model, anything that doesn't make mega-millions is bound to slip through the cracks. but that's unrealistic...

Few people buying some copies isn't going to change that. Shame, really feels like any creative attempt - especially when it's not immediately romance - just dies right away.

I'd love if it somehow is actually the Mom's mind in the robot. Last minute way to escape getting killed or something. ... probably too much to hope for though.

This was a very strong first chapter—I literally couldn’t put it down! I wonder if Ribbon Chan could be a cyborg or just created by Miyamoto’s mom like someone else mentioned. Hopefully it doesn’t get axed :)

Apparently the scan for this has been shared with the author. (edit to clarify, she's more curious to see it than anything)

Seeing the outpour of support for this work on twitter has been really nice. I really hope this series isn't axed, but at least the author has seen firsthand that overseas fans do know how to go to bat for yuri work.
