This manga really does make you feel like when you have that special flower in your garden that you can see the lil bud and you are so excited to see bloom, you see it growing little by little and GOD IT TAKES FOREVER! You do get impatient at times, but I can tell I am gonna end up feeling like it was all 'Worth it'. Ah, thank the gods for this manga.

Monthly dose of sweet, wholesome, yet-to-bloom yuri, this time with a bit of sadness in the mix. Just a group of friends taking a break from studying for their exams, but it's so nice to see them interacting in these little moments.

cmon y’all we know that EVENTUALLY something’s gonna happen it’s just a very, very slow burn lol. It is nice to see them talking about “confessing” though, make it a little less about subtext, in the very artful way this series tends to do.

Normally when I read something, I want either the characters or myself to explode (positive)
But this time I want neither to explode because I desperately need to know what happens next

It's very cute and calm, but on the inside I'm like oh god if someone isn't yearning and desperate in the story then I just get antsy. Slow burns are the woooooorst.

I think what I'm realizing is these characters are more emotionally regulated than me.

The last frame couldn’t be more calming, but these two are so reserved that their heads would likely explode if they were to simply hold hands.

Hold hands? Jeez, let's not go way over the top here. But . . . if each one could slide a foot forward, the toes of their shoes might touch under the table.

After they've come to the cafe a couple more times. Maybe.

At any point in this chapter they could have printed "Oops, a love has bloomed" over the panel and ended the whole series.

This whole vibe feels very fitting for these two, doesn't it, though? They truly enjoy being together and they both don't feel any real need to ''put on a show'' for the other. To me at least, that's true closeness, when just being there is more than enough.

This soothes the weary heart. The bottom panel of the last page is one of my all-time favorites. Just fantastic all around.
