In comes a part timer to the office, the part timer a former high school classmate to both girls. The part timer tries her old tricks to blackmail our successful office lady to get ahead. The part timer emboldened by recognizing old prey, the “scary” high schooler.

Turns out our supposedly scary former high schooler is now an actual scary office lady. The part timer toyed with her old prey. Then the prey bared its fangs in response.

I had to reread it a few times to understand. That seems to be the gist of it.

Me! I was the idiot who completely missed the "twist" despite the conversation between miss temp and ex-punk OL.
I do think it was intentionally set up that way, but it was executed well. Especially how it transitions from the bento talk to Shouko being the one who still makes better meals.

This was such a lovely one shot, they are such a cute couple! Also love how Yukie is down to bite anyome just to protect Shouko, its just pure love right there lol

I noticed halfway through the story and then had to keep checking the hair to confirm blonde gyaru “delinquent” with beauty mark (Yukie Ayano) turned into “career woman” who cooks all the food in the house (except sweets) and the calm, “plain” girl (Shouko Yoshino) turned into the lesbian bar owner who hangs out with friends and was afraid of finding anyone from their past. Possibly not for her sake but for Yukie’s sake.

This is all . . . . RIDICULOUSLY FUCKING CUTE AS HELL. WOOOO GO YUKIE BADASS!!! THAT POWER SUIT OF A MOVE. A true Tokyo woman protecting what’s hers. Literally was like “awe so cute, Shouko you can just be my ‘kept woman’” lol

For extra poetic justice, I note our OL said the creep lady was actually good at the job. As in, if she hadn't tried to pull nasty crap to blackmail our OL into making sure she kept her job . . . she probably would have kept her job.
