This is the worst manga.

There's no MAGIC FLUTE DAMMIT!!!

But yeah, that son of hers is an awesome individual. Probably knew that his dad was cheating on her. Rise's calculated final move though xD I thought at first that she's just an earnest schoolgirl, but nooooo, she's a little sneaky isn't she?

Pretty sure there's no connection to the opera The Magic Flute since I can't see any particular connection. Maybe the Pied Piper's flute, drawing her out of her comfort zone to follow her?

at first, i thought it's going to be an NTR manga about a mom who's cheating with her son's girlfriend.
wait...that's sounds like a porn plot.

The flute is a pretty good metaphor, and I like how the author didn't cram it down the readers' throats like a lot of other metaphors in yuri manga, which tends to make their metaphors super obvious.

I'm not a fan of the concept of love at first sight, but I still liked their relationship. I also liked the older woman's realistic reaction to being confessed to by a girl for the first time. It feels like this could really happen (aside from the love at first sight part, but that could be attributed to the girl's youth).

Did the author ever actually use the metaphor in the manga?

If this story were a yaoi, and if the title were '' the boy's magic flute '' I'm sure this would have sounded differently ^^

Cute read indeed, even if I'm not fond of these kind of open ending .

"Like a sea of sweet whipped cream... Painful, and sweet."

...I don't exactly understand what that's supposed to mean, but okay, I guess!!

I enjoyed it a lot, but it really does seem like there's no long-term future for this relationship. As young people do, Rise is running purely on an impulsive physical attraction, and has no thoughts or plans beyond that; even if she did, frankly, they couldn't be trusted at her age. There's also the fact that Machi, who is understandably a rather old-fashioned lady, will probably have many expectations of a relationship that Rise will be unable to fulfill.

I guess this sounds cynical, but the very realistic mindsets and interactions of both characters - for which I heartily compliment the author - lend themselves to that viewpoint. A continuation would definitely be welcome here, because as it is...

Thanks as always, Yuri Project.

If I had a girl, is this what it would be like?
Nop... Just imagine a daughter like that. O_O

Is really a sweet tale, but love at first sight is complicated... Look at them, they were attracted to each others for what they see, but they don't know what the other likes or dislikes, if by accident... They don't share anything in common it's gonna be tough.

I hope it works

What about having a daughter like that?

As for this story, I too got a laugh out of the casual reaction of the son. "My female classmate wants to date you? Cool, why don't you give it a try?"

And if this would end well, I don't know. It all depends on how they both handle this relationship.

And yeah, the metaphors are confusing. I would have thought the title would have been related to a parfait or something, to match the imagery.

I wonder if the flute is not a mistranslation.
