It's really cute how casually their friendship shifted into being romantic. Like, their relationship hasn't actually changed, they already acted like a couple, the only difference is they kiss sometimes now. Its just really cute and it makes me smile.

^ Kanna originally wanted to bring Mitsuki with her to the US though she seems to have relented after she saw the relationship Mitsuki had with Aya. It's always possible it will be brought back later, especially if Mitsuki ends up getting a music contract.

It was in the previous chapter--Aya wants to learn English because it will open up the world of Western music to her, and also (real reason) she wants to fully understand Mitsuki's lyrics.

Ah, right. My impression is that the Mitsuki-to-US plan is, at best, on hold. Joe's promise to follow Kanna poses the questions for the future of: when, how, and what about Mitsuki?

I've only ever seen the "going to America" trope in manga used as a way of temporarily removing characters from the plot--it's a little hard for me to imagine a manga endgame of "all the main characters transplant to the West and live happily ever after," although I'm sure it must have happened sometime, given how many manga there are.

Last page seems (at lest to me) to be foreshadowing some momentary upcoming drama ... maybe? ... perhaps?

Could it go down the time of; Aya gets tired and worn out studying but keeps telling herself everything is okay. Mitsuke notices Aya becoming more withdrawn (because Aya's so tired) and thinks it something she's done. Neither talk about it and things spiral downwards?
