its probably just the gap between releases but i feel like we've been stuck on this dodgeball game for forever. i really enjoyed this series up until now but i couldn't care less about sports manga so like... gughghh get on with it already

The dodgeball arc was only six chapters, but it happened over the span of almost a year, that's why.

Not that I mind, I love manga about lesbians doing sports.

the ending for the dodgeball arc was terrible and makes me hate these long arcs even more it felt like such bullshit when she won. series seriously has to go back to being semi episodic because these multi part story lines are preventing me from recommending the series [not the multi part character stories] cops and robbers and dodgeball is just ruining the series

It was only 6 chapters. Iif there were release in a shorter period of time, it wouldn't had feel this long.

My only real issue with this arc is that it lacks some of the lewdness and insanity of the cops and robbers. Feels a bit too serious for the tone of this series, though not a bad arc on its own. Don't think it would've felt very long had it come out back to back

I can agree the cops and robbers arc was better thanks to the extreme absurdity, the dodgeball mostly kept to plausibly real, even unmasking Kamen. I still thought it was fine though

Holy fuck this is some good action. I love the range of just having a yuri shounen action sports arc, and it was so compelling!!! Mochi is my goat.

The end result of this match is not important, what matters is the number of couples that have been formed along the way (a long way).

Wow, this is so weirdly well written. Mochi au Lait has always had a unique writing style that blended comedy with genuinely touching moments, but I think it really has started to shine since the Rin chapter. The new scanlator definitely has a talent for localization as well, which I think adds to the emotion.

A lot to like about this chapter; whether it's prez losing composure or just the advancement of a couple of relationships (and one being put on hold, in an unexpectedly sensible decision). Honestly surprised Banryu knuckled under so much, but if she's into that sort of thing so long as it doesn't impact her rep, then good for her.

I am curious how some of the dangling threads will get resolved. Kurohime seems a bit too into Toudou to just be handed a new crush out of nowhere, but the latter is looking pretty darn locked in with Rin at this point.

Lastly, the bit with 'my kill list' in special font was beautiful, I'm curious if the raws did something similar.

Yeah!! I really like kurohime, i hope she has good things in store. But it was really nice to see Rin is being taken seriously as Toudou’s love interest. I wonder how they’ll handle it.

It’s SO good. Mochi has really leveraged her “writing zang things” skills and her “writing inspired yuri” skills to make something totally unique. Like. A peak romance story just arose out of an awesome playful sexy gag manga with an ensemble cast. Who would have guessed it’d genre break like that?? Mochi really can’t be contained by any boundaries. She is a pioneer.
