Oh my god, was that sub-title a Phillip K. Dick reference? I finally decided to check this series out, and this is the first thing I get. That..is actually kind of awesome, no complaints here.

Also, this is very very gay. Kind of sad that it has the subtext tag, which pretty much guarantees that nothing of actual substance will happen between any of these characters. Oh well, still cute though.

As we slowly drift into Neko Para territory.

Don't give up hope just because of the subtext tag. When we started, people were arguing if there even is subtext in this manga. Now, it's canon that Yukime is gay for Kuuko.
We're making progress, I think there's a small chance we might actually end up with at least Yukime and Kuuko as a couple, if we're lucky.

The other Hijiki series ended up with subtext after having the Yuri tag for so long. The author may want Yuri to happen hence all these moments we got so far but it may not be the same for the editor/publisher I guess?

Anyway Nene is so cute. ;-;

On a personal note, girls with braids and glasses are my absolute favorites, and it's super frustrating that this is just a flashback character and not a cast member.

Mahoro needs an income source soon. When you look at it the right way even if Kii is bringing upbeat feelings, and a tiny bit of luck, she will be a kid forever. Meaning Mahoro has a child to raise - forever. They should try to leverage Kii's luck a bit at a time - guided by the wisdom of the fox spirit, to get money coming in.
