Fair warning: Although some pages of the first chapter are almost identical to this doujin, the story is completely different. For one thing, the girl seems to be loli both in body and mind. For another... I don't think she's a vampire anymore.
Regardless, it looks fun, so I'm hoping some group picks it up.
It's worth noting that, besides the fact that a new chapter hasn't been posted since October, the artist has several ongoing Pixiv webmanga, including Tadokoro-san, which he started since the latest chapter of Cat-Eared Girl. This is all in addition to a serialised manga (which he's working on with Akamaru, of all people).
I'm not sure why this has been scanlated but the companion manga hasn't, but you can buy the other one on the artist's BOOTH if someone is so inclined.
Is this another out-of-sequence/one-off chapter? Or is the amusement park arc over already?
Now that we finally have a story arc again, I'm paranoid that it'll get dropped...
Is this an updated reupload? Why do I feel like I've read this before...
Because it's only just now being posted to dynasty. Dynasty misses stuff all the time.
Less "misses" than "the uploaders aren't scouring the internet for yuri." Most of the chapters that aren't done by a major scanlator and/or part of a series are submitted by users through the upload request form. However long it takes for someone to request it be uploaded is how long it takes for it to be uploaded.
I dunno what to make of these two chapters. The new character barely was introduced before she was suddenly vital to the plot that came out of nowhere. That just isn't good writing.
That was interesting. I'm not hugely familiar with the backstory for these characters, but I know enough to follow along. It's kind of funny that a youkai that's so incompetent it blinds itself ended up being the big threat.
Yeah, it's always so weird to see Rumia portrayed as a threat when I'm so used to her being treated as a walking (flying) punchline.
