Yeah, I have zero patience for that type of people, even though she's mostly well intentioned here (^^) It doesn't help that she has that perma smug/sarcastic attitude, you can never tell if she's poking fun or being considerate. What I don't like about this story is that to me both people interested in Meguru seem like predators. As in they love her looks and are really into troubled teens. Everybody is maybe unintentionally trying to get her into a new codependent relationship while she struggles navigating herself out of her last one.
Generally if I in my mind gender swap both women interested in Meguru this feels for some reason even more icky to me.

Honestly, they all degenerate to an extent, except for Kasane's ex maybe. Seems like the only decent character.

I've had this manga on my To Read list for years, and now I finally binged through all of it. It's a really great manga. All the characters are funny, and their flaws make them feel more humane. I also like that the author keeps lampshading the legal implications of Kasane's attraction to Megu and the possible ramifications, which is kind of a breath of fresh air when usually everything is just rainbows and flowers.

...but I am into being looked at like I'm trash...

I feel personally targeted by that. :'D
