I mean let's be real did she really think her showing up for a super short amount of time blowing up her world and then leaving was going to be enough to just magically change all the shit she goes through over ten years? Looks like she was also abused (Probably getting back with that dude a week after she left to go overseas).
It honestly kinda blows my mind that she thought just being there for like a month would magically change her enough to fix all the bullshit that happens.
Also with this quote: "Just believe in the me who believes in you, Yuzuki"
All I can think of is this quote "Don't believe in yourself! Believe in me! Believe in the Kamina who believes in you!"
Am I the only one that thought of that instantly lol?
This series is a bit weird. Hinata knows all the shit she goes through yet really thought cheering her up for a month was gonna fix that. Also in the second timeline she doesn't call and apologize to her. She had her in her Phone as Hina right? So in the first timeline when she cut herself they seemed to have kept in touch a little? And in the second how did Hina even know she was gonna do it again? Did the Ghost slug magically appear back in her hands or something? Oh well next chapter will have to explain a bit more.
Thanks for the translate and upload thought this got the axe and we'd never see anymore. I at least really enjoy the art even if the story feels convoluted and just off.
YOOOO I was thinking the exact same thing. Like, you knew what happened in the original timeline. Stopping something like that is going to take a lot more commitment than just a week or two and some generic feel-good pep talks. You even have a general idea of WHEN it will happen, so if it really matters to you, maybe reconnect before it happens to be sure to stop it. I get having no agency as a kid where you are forced to move to, but she could have gotten more involved once she was an adult if yuzuki meant so much to her. Just doesn't seem like good writing, but i like the premise so i will keep reading and hope it explains these disconnects. Unless she pops back to her adult body after her time in Japan. That would make more sense, but showing her reacting to trying to turn back time again doesn't make it seem like that's the case? Also, wouldn't that suck to have to keep reliving 10 years over and over LOL.
Also, how funny would it be, if she pops back to HER timeline with Yuzuki dead when her time in the past is done, not knowing she started an alternate timeline, and just thinks she failed. So, she just continues to try again and again, making all these alternate realities that she doesn't get to experience because they aren't hers. Funny, but tragic. It would be like a twisted madoka/yeul scenario.
