Glad Kyou saw and knows it's game over. Can't help but be a little bummed for Kisaki-senpai~, though. I know she and Fuyuki weren't really dating, but I want her to find happiness way before Eri ever does lol. Well, at least Eri took responsibility this time around with that kiss.

I didn't spend any time on the conversation with Ino, really. A girl fighting over a guy? In my yuri Manga? Goodbye. Just seemed like her shouting, "I'm the one who loves him, everything bad is your fault".

All I really got from 16.1 at a glance was Fuyuki is telling Kyou and Eri to work it out. Kyou agrees to talk to Eri, which Ino overhears. She walks out. I'm not sure what the name on the door is, but I'm guessing Ino waited outside Kyou's place for him. She confronts him about going to talk to Eri. Good for her for standing up for herself. She picked a sucky dude, though. Turns out they hooked up, so. He and Eri aren't even preroply broken uppppp. Not sure what Eri is up to. The translation for her text to Fuyuki was a little too literal and I can't figure out what it actually means rn

I really wanted to disagree, but I couldn't lol. You articulated this thought so well. Eri thinks that to be Fuyuki's number one, she has to be her girlfriend. It's not necessarily that there are romantic feelings there--it's more like a practical take of "What can I do to be the most important to her? Be her girlfriend? Okay." Especially after her internal thoughts where she says she thought she did everything she could to stay Fuyuki's number one.

TLDR Eri needs to sort out what she's feeling yesterday. I think this is where the crumbs aren't enough for me, because it's hard for me to believe anyone could be so unaware of themselves. Comphet is always in the picture, but Fuyuki is (fake) dating a girl and hasn't burst into flame, so like, why not? I knew I liked girls when I was 14, and I surely didn't have as blatant an experience as a female best friend dating another girl. I also know my experience isn't everyone's experience, but I am ~simply exasperated~

It feels like this chapter should've been bigger in a way now that Eri is having her first potentially gay thought all on her own. The fact that it's only potentially gay kinda nerfs it.

Also great finally getting Fuyuki's internal thoughts properly. I love that she said Eri is only her number one because she's in love with her, and if she fell for someone new, Eri likely wouldn't be her priority anymore. I know she said she didn't want to move on, but if she finally takes that step, she can be out of this nightmare. It doesn't have to be with Kisaki-senpai~. Just anyone but Eri lol.

Conversely, Eri still won't take 4 seconds to think about why Fuyuki is her number one, so she misses out. I will say it's nice that she's considering Fuyuki's feelings a bit (seeing Fuyuki's discomfort about being the lead character and volunteering in her stead), but all the pain she unknowingly causes doesn't make up for it for me.

Agree~~ Even though ~Kisaki-senpai~ and Fuyuki are together, Eri is the one driving the wedge between herself and Fuyuki, I think. Fuyuki has patiently watched Eri date guy after guy and still been supportive. The second Eri sees Fuyuki kiss someone else, she has a total meltdown. She needs to think about how others feel before it's too late (I hope she doesn't).

I don't remember Eri having an abusive ex, either, lol. The wounds, tho: When Fuyuki sees or hears something particularly upsetting about Eri and Kyou, she hurts herself. First time was chapter 4 after Eri tries to make Fuyuki come on her date with her boyfriend?? The next time, I can't remember the chapter, but it's the one where Fuyuki walks in on Eri and Kyou. When she asks ~Kisaki-senpai~ to comfort her, her arm is all scratched up :(

If she isn't, there is no redeeming this girl lol. Eri will probably need one more extremely obvious push--something like Kyou yelling at her, "It's like the one you want to date is Fuyuki!" Though her classmate jokingly said something along those lines in chapter 5, I think, ("Where I'm from, we call that adultery"), and Eri immediately shot it down so. She doesn't seem to think much of romantic touching when it's with her past boyfriends, like swossy mentioned above. Maybe she'll inadvertently think about Fuyuki in that way and realize she actually does want those things--just from Fuyuki and not those other guys.

That was an awesome chapter. Definitely no doubt in my mind that Eri likes Fuyuki, but she's going to have to work hard to convince me she's good enough for her.

Sensei's too reserved about her feelings, she set this all up but I just cannot foresee this going well for her. Is she trying to break her own heart, and force herself to give up on Mei?
