After this chapter, I think I'll have to wait for this one to finish before continuing. It's starting to stall narratively for me, and I'd like to preserve my opinion of the series. The next chapter has some promise of forward momentum, but I've been thinking that for the last few chapters, too. I need some kind of decision to be made by any one of them, besides hesitation.

Man this is ridiculous, it would have been better if they confessed, there would be even more drama since she would feel even more guilty when talking to Hario.

Yeah, I also suspect that Hario has seen through what's going on between Ema and Takara. The timing of this conversation, and the way he sought her out, seems to point to that.

I think he probably will confront her, but not in an accusatory "back off" kind of way; that really doesn't seem like it would be his style from everything we've seen so far. I expect it to be a more indirect thing along the lines of "I'm prepared to support her no matter what. Can you say you're prepared to do the same?"

She is like that and that's why Hario can play an important role here. He can move things forward (and I hope because this is getting tedious). I really hope the next line is something "but maybe I wasn't what she needed", implying that if Ema wants to be with Takara, he will support them.

It would be nice and there's reasons for why Takara's doing that would be important for progress but I've kind of given up hope. There's also his worry about her changing as a result of someone else and his fear of her leaving him. That doesn't sound like he's willing to step away at the moment. If I had to bet, this will be another way to have things stall. We've been finding creative ways to mask the same beats for a bit now. We'll see though.

The rollercoaster of emotions that went through me before I even opened the chapter up, just seeing it had arrived. And then the chapter... I'm gonna kill someone! XD

we're never getting the confession from Takara, she is willfully incapable of taking the signals Ema sends out and decoding them as the romantic confessions they are. Because she's at this point just fully a coward. She's straight up going to need be pulled into the middle of a confrontation before she'll allow herself to be honest.

So let's hope Hario is here to tell her to stop seducing his wife and start that fight lmao.

(also to clarify I don't dislike Takara, I'm not here to be negative on her merely to state that she truly does just take every exit she can get so the only way she's ever getting with Ema at this point is if she's just kind of not given another choice)
