It's not often that I feel bad for a dude in a Yuri Manga. Mostly cause about 99% of the time they're either background/side characters or outright the antagonist. Hario seems like a pretty stand-up guy though, and he really does love Ema, too bad the poor fella doesn't realize his happy ending and Ema's don't exactly line up.
I don't actually want her to cheat. I want her to keep it platonic until after she leaves her husband.
This is also one of the few cases where I've thought poly would be fine if they're able to operate that way.
Indeed, it's not about cheating. Just that they will need to find out about each other's feelings before we can in any way talk about further developments like leaving her husband, since without that she really has no reason to do so.

Ploy in this manga is something I never thought about, it might be interesting to see, given how much those two love Ema. :) But I just want the girls to be happy, whatever truly makes them happy TvT
poly route would not make sense imo bc ema does not have any semblance of romantic interest in that man. i think he will always be someone she loves and is grateful for, but it's pretty clear she's only romantically interested in takara
Well, I guess the best outcome would be the husband being understanding and knowing he can't keep Ema by his side because she'd be happier with Takara and so set her free.
Actually loving someone means wanting them to be happy, innit?
God she needs to get divorced! Like genuinely, Hario so shouldn't matter in Ema's decision making because she's guilt tripping herself into staying right now.
So she needs to get divorced, marriage is a two person deal and it doesn't work if only one of them wants to be in it.
The author has me tied down on the rack and gives the handle another turn.
"Ah! No more!" I cry in pain.
"No more?" she asks coyly.
"No... more..." I beg, secretly savoring the delicious emotional angst.
I think we might at least be getting some catharsis (just in time for new different kinds of angst), if both Takara and Ema end up at the lesbian event and run into each other then it'll at least expose to each of them that the other one is a lesbian
I know that this is a “dramatic work” (and hence the Idiot Couple tag is out of bounds), but the angst and density here is reaching close to humorous levels. Their advice-giving female friends are at the “Just fuck already!” stage, and even sad-sack Hario is like, “At least she’s at a hotel with the woman she’s in love with and not dead in a ditch somewhere.”
i'm starting to get a little impatient with these two. they need to spice things up, one of them needs to lose control and unintentionally make an advance or something.
