I think it's a good thing ultimately. She's learning emotions she's not experienced before by being in a serious relationship, and by identifying what the emotion is and why she's feeling it she's able to grow. As she grows as a person she'll be able to in theory manage her feelings better and control her powers, and that will hopefully mean she won't accidentally pop her girlfriend's head like a grape lol

Until now, Runa had been a background character who kind of seemed like a horrible ex who completely disregarded Mai's feelings, but now that we've come to know her, we see that there's much more to her! I really like how Yatosaki Haru handled Runa's aro-ace-ness. Both Mai and Lily fully accepted her and didn't doubt her feelings at all. Though it seemed like Lily was going the route of "Before I met Mai-chan, I'd never loved anyone, so maybe you just need to find the right one!", she never doubted what Runa said, and instead assured her that everything is alright. And precisely because Lily's had similar feelings to those of Runa—though you could argue that these feelings come from different places—it looks like these two might just become very good friends!

All is well that ends well, and they lived happily ever after.
