Down below is just response to comments about A.I stuff since I was bored.

I’m not trusting or believing in governments to do anything right. Also I still rather have the human touch if possible, the passion, and so forth. Translation is also an art.

Fair, I also don't have a high view of the government but at least they are better than corrupt warlords in other companies....Still corrupt and probably full of lazy people that make people lives annoying but I still think they are hopefully good will people working there for the public and trying to make the world a better place (low 10% of the workers at the government is my estimation...Plus most of the old 60-80 year boomer workers probably don't even understand what A.I even is or even know how to use a computer besides using it for their emails sadly...)

I have a few idea of ways to make sure A.I doesn't not completely fk us and other people over completely when the big companies try to lose it to fire workers, save costs and try to earn more money but eh I am just an random nobody, I don't anyone is interest or cares sadly XD

Only 'high level talented people (People that studied and train in their field/craft)' can probably tell the difference in level and minor details/flaws, average nobodies like most people in the world like me can't (Example: A U-Tube video about how a random commentator was saying the piano was 'okay'- decent but could be better and the commentators dissing that commentator and saying how the commentator has no idea what she/he is talking about and claiming they probably can't play better....But in 3-4 month she/he put out a piano video song like they claim they would which actually completely blow the original song out of the water lol XD)

between a professional talented translator vs ChatGPT then the professional human translator would win 90% of the time....But between ChatGPT AI or other AI version versus a random average human translator (Those who only studied the language they are translating for like 2-3 years)....then sometimes the AI would win....In 10-20 years AI would defeat about 70-80% of the average human translators....only the 10-20% truly talented translator will actually survive and have jobs

Do you just want examples of how people are losing jobs due to A.I or do you want me to give clear evidence for my prediction and theory? It could be faster or it could actually take like maybe 35-40 years instead for people to start losing their jobs in translation to A.I, it depends on many factors and etc. If you mean whether A.I would beat out the average translators....Isn't it obvious, technology just gets better and better, more refine...There will always be talented and skill translators that will beat A.I translators even 10-20 years from now but as the years progress people making A.I will find ways to refine it assuming they are not talent-less programmers/inventors.

A.I cannot replace human workers 'right now'...But give it time for people to improve and make A.I more efficient then in the next 30-50 years pretty much everyone will be using it or it will be integrated more into society...I mean QR codes came out in 1994 and weren't popular until the late 2010s, now it become noticeable to see them in many places.

Simple...Just look at history, for example the industry revolution. Many people were afraid of the so-called new technology despite the positive effects....since the industry revolution has negative effects for people living during that time...The so-called skilled people with...the spinning jenny, power loom, steam engine. There are still many talented people in those field (Weavers, wood sculptor, etc.) but much lesser compared that time.

You really think people won't lose their jobs because of A.I huh....I would have said maybe 25-40 years but thanks to many 'virtue signaler people' I seen in the translation business and other industries like voice acting...I now say about 15-20 years would be the the time when many companies and people will rely more on A.I much more than today...The advance of technology is both scary and interesting....Even go0gle is automatically making you use their A.I whenever you type out a question in their search bar. Many websites have A.I assistants (There are still human workers online thankfully since the A.I is pretty fking useless when dealing with tough question or situations).

Example:
Some Japanese companies are using A.I to translate stuff but having their human worker look over the translation by A.I to make sure there is no Error. This basically means the so-caller humans translators still have jobs (Probably only a few let go, hopefully only the lazy ones) and basically Editors/checkers to make sure the translations is correct.
In fact I even support them doing this in 'some cases'....BECUZ OF FKING ENTITLED VIRTUE SIGNALERS AND NARCISSTIC LOCALIZERS!!! They are basically rewriting the original's author own work/manga/book to fit their own viewpoints and politics...No your job is to translate it as accurate as possible and get the meaning (Localize) of the certain culture/phrase words to english audience instead of completely changing it into something totally different!!!!

Graphic designers...Apparently people are losing their jobs due to A.I sadly....Not all Graphic designers but there is a noticeable lay off seen. Voice actors...Yeah...that is both an annoying topic and conversation to have...Many voice actors deserve their jobs and deserve to have their voice protected and job safe...but sadly thanks to those annoying 'virtue signalers' voice actors that are annoying their fans many voice actors are losing their jobs....Ironically and thankfully to other new voice actors that are 'humans' lol XD ....But if they keep trying to virtue signal their fans will hate them enough to support companies using A.I voices instead of real voice actors sadly (Their fans basically being the major shield against being fired from companies ironically).

A.I restaurant in America (Some A.I and automated restaurants exist today )....There are some A.I machine and barely any humans workers there (Probably there so some customers prefer human interactions or need a refund if the machine got it wrong.) Another example of A.I replacing human workers.

AI-powered robots delivery workers....Some of them exist in America...Man the human delivery people are pissed off...Seen video of them kicking the 'poor (It's a machine, it has not emotions)' robots delivery stuff when they pass by the robots lol XD

We will need stuff like universal welfare (Money for Food and an small shed house at least) in the next 50-100 years if A.I keeping improving and being hogged by the large big companies XD....Oh well, I am sure people will figure out decent laws like no stealing Data/images to train their A.I without permission and no using dead people voices for stuff at least hopefully.

I think there's various obvious problems with AI in general, and it doesn't hold up under most scrutiny. With that said this thread has gotten very off topic and I think the conversation should probably be moved elsewhere at this point. Plus I think there's various things being said that are inappropriate and rude due to the human effort that goes into Dynasty Scans, both the original work and translation. For my closing statement I want to again say I appreciate the human effort and passion that goes into translations and the original works. This manga has been very fun so far, and I'm looking forward to future chapters.

I'd say so, or at least adjacent. Since AI makes mistakes and I genuinely don't trust it in general. Plus there's nuances with language, understanding it, all of which need a human touch. I think human translation is far more respectful of the original work, and Dynasty Scans is a website with a library built on human works and human translations. I appreciate the passion and hard work that goes into both the original work and translations here, so I'd rather wait for a human translation of the webnovel if I were to read it.

I think human translation is even more prone to error and bias, like the translation of Watanare by Sevensea (it feels really weird). That's not to say AI is perfect but it's a solid choice if staying true to the original is the goal. Human can really elevate the work but it requires a really high talent.

POV: YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TRANSLATION.

Also, we need to stop thinking that the original text is better than a translation because you don't know how many mistakes and inconsistencies us, translators, find in the original texts.

Hmm the art....Well I notice there is just a tiny difference between chapter 1 MC and this chapter MC but eh I guess the artist maybe was just feeling sick, hurt their hands or they were just tired from working (One comment said the artist is working on two series???). Not a big deal but I guess the art difference is noticeable even to the average person's eyes (Me included in the average person section). Somewhat common problem with artist when they are overworked or working on multiple series.

Both looked off, but in different ways. Here in GxV it looks like another artist (probably an assistant) drew over Minori Chigusa's designs, while Convenient SemiFriend looks overall rough (maybe done in a hurry?)

I guess two series at the same time is a bit too much for one mangaka...
