No? Aside from the insecurity around not hearing "I love you" this chapter was focused on, Lily asking Mai why Mai has been so open to kissing recently, and Mai responding because your mom told me about your struggles and I felt sorry for you. Which is something they need to actually talk through as a couple.

That's a reference to a TikTok sound. I didn't actually try to sum up the chapter.

I've stopped myself several times from reading the new chapters until I've reread everything again and it was totally worth it bc I always forget everything that has happened so far.
Every time I read a new chapter I'm amazed by the characters' complexities and the storyline. I love how it's so funny even though its main genre is mystery.
And I also want to thank the translator for their work because you can really tell they pay attention to every detail and can connect everything.

Does AI count as MTL? The quality is like night and day

I'd say so, or at least adjacent. Since AI makes mistakes and I genuinely don't trust it in general. Plus there's nuances with language, understanding it, all of which need a human touch. I think human translation is far more respectful of the original work, and Dynasty Scans is a website with a library built on human works and human translations. I appreciate the passion and hard work that goes into both the original work and translations here, so I'd rather wait for a human translation of the webnovel if I were to read it.

I think human translation is even more prone to error and bias, like the translation of Watanare by Sevensea (it feels really weird). That's not to say AI is perfect but it's a solid choice if staying true to the original is the goal. Human can really elevate the work but it requires a really high talent.

POV: YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TRANSLATION.

Also, we need to stop thinking that the original text is better than a translation because you don't know how many mistakes and inconsistencies us, translators, find in the original texts.
