Mc seems like a yandere, and th yandere girl still seems to have somewhat of a moral compass, given how shocked she looked when MC said she always wanted to kill the bullies…

Glad other ppl on here are pointing out how unhinged that is, I read another comic with a bullied protag who wanted to kill her bullies, and I got judged for pointing out how crazy it is to think that…

Anyways, very interested to see how this goes. Is the zombie immunity due to the girl getting a shot when she was a baby (like in the Zom-B book series), is it just a luck thing, or is it tied to the mental state of the person?

Like, if a person is solely focused on survival when they get bit, they become a mindless zombie, but if the person is reminiscing their life, thinking about their family, or a passion/dream, something that ties back to their humanity, do they become a zombie with a conscious?

I’d hate for there to be only one sentient zombie so I’m hoping it’s not some genetic thing or some explanation that makes it so she’s the only one who’s special

This looks like it could shape up to be a what the fuck am I reading? kind of manga, which I'm always ready for.

You know the justification for why MC didn't notice anything 'weird or strange'...The bullied MC is not paying attention to her surroundings...She would see all the blood hand marks on the windows when walking to school but she is mostly just staring at the ground while walking...You can notice that MC not even looking at the girl who saved her from bullying face, her gaze always pointed down (Meek, defeated and submissive...Submissive and breed@ble mode basically). It happens to bullied kids that are low on mental energy, have no time to look around and admire their surrounds due to all the negative emotions they are dealing...Even sad and angry people will notice that their food taste worse or more dull due to their negative emotions.
Though I am surprised that the zombie(Guy walking past her) didn't try to attack her...Perhaps there is a element from like world war Z that being sick (Minor cold) or having Cancer makes you invisible to zombies?

Yes, MC's reaction and what she admit does sound crazy and will set off the alarm bells in us normal people...But eh I don't blame her...She had a lot of built up negative emotions waiting to burst out. Risa is kind of worried and scared when MC told her that since killing other zombie is not personal for her(Teleports behind zombie with bat and says "nothing personal kid"), it's just for survival. MC on the other hand...It very personally~!

Like some comments said and point out...There might be a cure or vaccine being made during the 1 to 2-weeks that MC been sick during the zombie outbreak [Shaun of the dead after outbreak style]. Serum or possible serum?

Donkey Kong comment reminds me of the [All of Us Are Dead] Korean zombie movie, like how some people if their willpower or determination is strong enough then they won't become mindless zombie due to the virus (Some examples shown in movie).

MC's new friend/best friendo (Future waifu)~! is immune or has a zombie resistance [Half zombie?]. I don't really believe the MC reaction and emotions are that crazy or wild for a person in her circumstance...if you had the chance to hurt or bash the heads of the bullies that been making fun and tormenting you for almost everyday then MC's reaction is very understandable and reasonable...'Normal people' would be disturbed and a bit scared though...

MC showing off her inherent yandere-traits to her new best friend (Possibly her first ever friend...)...MC please don't kill your friend's other friend, they might be dating!...A 3some is the best solution if they are though...though if that doesn't work then you can always 'wish or hope' for a possible unfortunate 'accident' to happen to Miya tho...Comforting your new best friend XD

Reminded me of Kimi wo Tsumugu which I really enjoyed and would like to recommend :), though still not really similar to this with how this looks rather insane and I'm scared.

I like the premise but I wish the drawings leaned into the edge a bit more. The expressions especially feel kind of stiff

Kinda jumped to full yandere pretty quickly lol, bit too over the top.

This is kinda just not for me. Already can't stand the MC because like how does someone really truly be acting in their own world that they can't see the surrounding of what happening around them. The "Oh, she was bullied so she kept her head down and ignored what happens around her while imagining killing people." Leaves such a weird bitter taste to my mouth. And then just that whole "Oh. My first friend is talking about someone else? I must kill them now."

It’s interesting that she said the zombies tend to get doomed into acting out in their last desires. Which at first seems sweet in the case of Risa who strongly wanted to be the MC’s friend and apparently find another person. Only the human she fixated on is the one acting like a monster by choice and just as dangerous as the other horrors out there.

I don't think it's "glorifying" it at all. Leaving her first friend to fend for herself and messing with her phone, rooting through her private photos and messages and plotting to isolate her by killing her other friends makes it pretty clear the MC isn't being posed as some kind of golden, morally faultless role model.

If you don't like stories with messy perspective characters, that's okay, this story is probably just not for you yet. Or maybe you'll enjoy it more if you don't view it through a lense of what it does or does not "glorify" or "excuse" or whatever.
