Having read the first two books, this series is basically reverse normie fantasy: The men stand around being sexy but not doing a whole lot, and WOW is there a lot of (probably unintentional) homoeroticism between Reirin and... Just about everybody. Tousetsu and Leelee both have an almost cult-like reverence for her.
Anyway, this series is ABSOLUTELY going to show up here.

Both Mai and Ajisai realize they are gay because of Renako, Renako herself is actually still firmly in denial about being a lesbian, and Satsuki doesn't come out until book eight!

Kaho has been openly in love with Mai since before the story even starts! Being shot down by Mai is part of her backstory!

So on top of manipulating people and events to maintain control over the main character, we now have power harassment.
Ni Shang isn't an idiot; She has to know that the main character hates her guts. But instead of trying to make amends, she immediately uses her position of power to force the MC into obedient subservience. This is consistent with her previous controlling behavior and it's deeply creepy.
I'm really questioning the "Romantic Comedy" label at this point because this is neither romantic nor funny.
