This is so bizarre to me. Even if they were pressured by the publisher, why would they think a het-loving audience would be interested in a manhua originally tagged yuri in the first place?

the author had the GL tag put on the series on bilibili & said it on weibo that the series was 双女主 (GL, but also means 2 female leads) so we went with the GL tag before the male love interest was introduced.

Its more commonly used with the former especially since bilbili's GL tag was also 双女主. It's actually my first time seeing 双女主 being used as 2 female leads instead of GL

Theres less issue with the het tag itself, or its being here (like there IS het on this site it just tends to be otherwise quirky), the fact this wasn't originally POSTED under the impression it was het is moreso the interesting part. This does feel so so so Happy Late April Fools!core lol.

I did read those… never contradicted it. I didn’t mean to imply the uploader could’ve known beforehand & if that is what my statement communicates I apologize. It was the accidental nature of it that makes it somewhat funny in the first place i swear! The GL tagging is just baffling, I don’t see much point in a deliberate bait-and-switch if the switch is revealed this early…

Reading all the shit about this one then look at the author's name, all I can say is: ok buddy... ☹️

Yuri or not, this still looks like a rather interesting story so far. Even if the former would have been preferable after what we've already seen of it.

We talked about dropping it, but for my part I still think it’s looking like it’ll be a nice series with gorgeous art and fun character/outfit designs. Nothing wrong with a good platonic female friendship series every now and then! But a bummer about the misleading expectations to be sure.
