To be clear, I don't dislike the manga. I think a lot of the interactions are fun. I don't see why thinking the main character is unrealistically, and to me distractingly, naive is not taking account of the culture, rather than expressing a flaw I find in something I like.

At first I thought the flashback panel wasn't Maria naked but rather that the collarbone area was the top of her shirt, but checking back from the previous chapter it's clearly her collarbone, and she doesn't have the straps of her dress showing, so she's gotta be at least topless.

Isn't her being unrealistically naive what makes this a comedy manga. Also being naive and at times clueless is a common trope in harem manga. It's a gag played up for laughs. Not saying you have to like it, but if it's something you don't like I don't think you'll like the rest of the manga. I don't think that's something Mei will be dropping anytime soon. It's a main part of her comedy.

I feel like if the author was to introduce sex into the story it wouldn't be in such a throwaway manner. Also didn't really reject the other girls. She mentions not picking Karin because she doesn't want to get hurt. Remember she believes Karin treats everyone the same way and thinks Karin wouldn't be loyal to her ans just keep kissing other women.

They almost certainly had sex. Mei and Maria were both visibly naked and panting in the flashback panel. Present Day Mei was also blushing pretty heavily in that panel too.

Even if they somehow didn't have sex, they very clearly went about as close to having sex with each other as you can manage.

Neither of those are a confirmation of anything IMO, but I'd say that acting like Maria isn't the frontrunner at this point or that she has no shot at being endgame with Mei at all is a bit crazy.

I think the teacher might win. My prediction is that all of the confessions will end up with some issue that needs to be solved. Karin’s problem is that she uses kissing to forget and essentially kisses anyone. My prediction for everyone else is that Riri-Chan has some issues with intimacy before marriage. It may be due to her being an idol or coming from a conservative family. In one chapter, Minato completely rejects another girl and says something about love being impossible for her. I don’t know her issue, but I don’t see her ending up with Mei because of this clue. Kaoru seems to have a problem giving in to desires from her long speeches despite giving in to her desires when she sniffs Mei. That is probably why she hasn’t confessed. (This could be a reach, though Kaoru seems complicated)
The only issue Maria has is that her position as a teacher hinders her ability to go further with Mei. She seems fine with waiting for her and having her experience other relationships. In the end, if they’re both single, I’m sure she would accept her as a girlfriend. I wish I knew where the ex crush came in the picture. Maybe she’s being used as a tool for Mei to figure out which girl she likes the most.
