Ui was Rizzing her friend up but back down to pretend it was a joke probably cuz she thinks her friend is 100% straight and fear of possibly getting rejected=Awkward relationship. Ui should just kiss her friend one day in the far future and just say 'No Homo', nod then go back to gaming while trying to not to die or blush~

Super cute. Mashiro will have to talk with Makino about her feelings. I'm sure Makino would be very receptive.

I also do want Mashiro to help the Kouhai, especially since she's already addressed her boundaries. If all she's doing is giving advice, I don't see the issue. Makino can trust Mashiro.

Having said that they need to discuss the issue more. I'm sure the texts will be a slight sore spot later...or not. This series likes to subvert issues with fun. Hope kouhai has a good experience at her session.

Do we know that girl that Hotaru is booking? She looks familiar but I know this manga suffers from a bit of same-face syndrome.

I'm sure talking in secret will lead to some more misunderstandings, but these two have overcome far worse.

That table flip was cool. Her being a scumbag again, and to her wife no less, wasn't.

I think she just likes the style of the AI's coloring better. A lot of artists envy certain styles that they can't wrap their minds around and arbitrarily think of them as "better."

AI images (almost used art here, yuck) are lush and "detailed", but it's also super obvious that they're done with AI once you've seen a few, even if the typical errors are corrected.
It's ultimately just soulless. It's the sum of its parts, nothing more.

Anyway, this is, for once, a "jealousy arc" I can get behind. It kinda just fits and makes sense to me in terms of character constellations and opportunities for growth. (flashbacks to the Citrus anime consisting of nothing but three jealousy arcs)

Fishing for compliments lol. I'm sure a whole lot of readers are correctly telling her how much better her art is than the dumb ai filter one. It probably did the job faster, at least, but yeesh it ignored the lineart in multiple places, most obviously the entire right hand side of the character is just completely garbled, and unlike with a human artist or assistant it can't get better at this and it can't correct mistakes, only roll the dice and generate a whole new attempt that will just have different random errors. There's probably no way for it to ever get details they rely on human context right, like the hair on the right side that is partially hidden by the shoulder, which looks fine in her version and like a random bit of hair is stapled onto the shirt in the ai version

I didn't realize it until you said it, haha. I guess it's pretty obvious, when you think about it, that

"The AI art is better than mine, I am sadness!"

actually means

"I can't wait to read all the fan letters telling me that my art is so-o-o much better than computer art, fu fu fu."

MC still feeling bit jealous and warily toward Kouhai-chan possible making moves on her 'waifu' and Kouhai-chan is finally going to the lily-place for the 1st time.

Lol...Okay it is pretty obvious that Author's coloring for the art is much better than the AI Art coloring attempt. Like some posts above said, authors probably wanting fan letters or compliments XD

It does feels somewhat demoralizing at times when a machine can mimic or do 60-70% quality of what you did in hours in a matter of possibly minutes but eh...That is just technology at work I guess.

Though yes it obvious that AI art is still inferior and very noticeable compared to skilled artists (It's lack a bit of soul and consistency) but in 40-60 years later....it going to become very very hard to tell the different...Heck even some average people (Old people in their 50-70 won't know if something is AI Art or not.) Welp not our problem though since most of us will be old boomers or dead...That will be the new generation problem lol...
