I think it's kind of a coin flip for me right now, you could definitely be right, but I think the other side is the possibility of that warped Hate & Love sandwich with various reflective parallels.

Kudos to Wakaba for keeping her verbal reactions to the minimum.

Making Matsuri a toxic, two-faced types who mask their hatred with false affection would be such a twist, especially with how highly Wakaba seems to think of her. I’m not actually sure that’s the direction the story’s going to go in, but it’d be so good if they did.

Y'all have some good ideas for Matsuri. Still don't think we're going anywhere with her but I'm all for it if the story goes that way.

Yee exactly, I'm glad you get where I'm coming from. It would add some interesting spice, and yet another layer to these complicated feelings where lies blanket their true emotions. I do worry about it being painful and uncomfortable, but it would be an interesting direction for the narrative themes.

Yep, this is one of those titles that's both "all the right kinds of wrong" and "dumb, but in a very entertaining way".
I love it.

I would enjoy it way more if one of the MC wasn't looking like an 8 year old kid... I understand that some people look way younger that their real age, but I can't help but feel sickened when it is that extreme.Too bad, the story is entertaining, but I guess I'll start reading the novel instead.

Particularly with how she's so quick to cuddle and comfort Komaki when she gets scared. Clearly Wakaba's not actually put off by the kissing if she's so quick to comfort her.

As is the case with this and it's sister series, the MC is always clearly into it from pretty much the start and there's always a clear out they don't take because they don't actually want to. But agreed, this chapter was definitely the most straightforward about it.

For me this series is messy but feels more mutual in it's complicated relationship. I can't stomach 100 days for a variety of reasons, mainly due to the rape factor. So I'm hoping this doesn't cross the line that 100 days did.

I love Komaki's cringe TikTok demon boyfriend "Lose the shirt, woman, or I'll chew it off you" bit with all my heart. I truly hope that when they actually get together she bottoms.
