You know, that whole manga is like a huge awkward trick of me.

As always throwing us a bone. A light-hearted chapter was to be expected after the drama of 32.5.

'Maybe I should throw her out,' Keiko thought to herself. That night Ran got spanked. LOL.
Ran showing her tongue on the last page is just too sexy. I don't understand how Keiko could withstand not kissing her xD
On a serious note, I think this could really be the theme of the new volume. Separation and/or Keiko starting to realize/accept her feelings for Ran. Especially since the last volume was so centric to Ran's feelings towards her senpai.

Keiko is almost defenseless against her, however hard she tries.

And as always, Ran just doesn't know when to stop.

I think after making her pregnant would be a good place to stop... and start a new life as newlywed. :3

This series is so good and also very helpful! if I had it during my school time I would get high scores on science tests regarding muscles XD

If there's one place I'd ever consider "b-b-b-BAKA!" as a legitimate reaction to anything,

It'd be this chapter. Shou. You jerk. ;_;

Now I don't really care if this series has more yuri or not. The interactions between Ran and Keiko are just so cute and interesting, enough to make anyone enjoy it.

The fact it was an April Fool's deal completely escaped me at first (it's 6am on the 2nd for me) and left me feeling completely confused at such a random development at first, lol.

At this point, I can't picture Keiko or Ran "falling in love" with anyone else. It's a closed road sir. There's just no space between them for a third character anymore. Even the ex-boyfriend, who fucking left Keiko dealing with her issues (he tried, alright, but gave up) is no match for Ran.

Unless the guys are really likable and makes them really happy, if Shou takes the het road, I'll be very sad.

Shou got us good this time. He is such a troll!! I wonder if this was also the reason he delayed the release of this chapter xD.

After reading this chapter,I just can no longer picture them not being together. It’s just getting more and more obvious how they just can’t live without each other. If the first three pages does happen, I am going to be really sad.

I had quite a few mini heart attacks from this chapter. Loved every minute of it though. Keiko's anxiety over Ran having a boyfriend and Ran being upset was delicious.

Just a kiss would send all of us run and jump and squeal with joy.

But if it happens, I hope it doesn't happen too soon, because it would probably signal the end of the series.

Btw, bonus points for the "April 1st sunday" (2012). 1 year after Tohoku earthquake. Details are everything here.

So Keiko is in denial of her obvious feelings for Ran, which isn't helped by Ran's often silly behavior. Fine. We get it. It seems to me though that the author doesn't really know how to build their relationship based on this premise. I am getting a bit frustrated by the constant game of "one step forward" and "one step back." SOMETHING has to happen, and Ran getting a boyfriend (or even girlfriend) might just be the trigger.

This is not a powerful enough trigger though
Only more stretches can make them take the extra steps, they're clearly not stretching enough

I think things are moving forward, it's just that Shou doesn't just show them clearly in front of our eyes. He's still showing us bit by bit their background and at some point we will understand what changed.

Something that we need to keep in mind is that in the beginning Ran was just moving in Keiko's place, they didn't see each other for a long time before that and they were both in a really bad shape. A lot happened even if we didn't realize at that point.

Personally, I like it that the development doesn't happen right in front of us but is hidden as a classic comic slice of life. I don't want a new boyfriend to appear out of nowhere or the ex suddenly becoming a big part of their life, that would be too straightforward.

Motherfucker, I actually fell for the boyfriend thing in the beginning. Well played Shou, well played.
I guess all those BAD END yuri stories have made some of us a bit too paranoid, lol.

I beg to disagree. Keiko isn't in denial, because she's not "in love" with Ran. She just needs her very very badly, for her own sanity.

Guess what Keiko has been craving for almost all her life? What her mother never gave her : love. Unquestionning and unconditionnal love, that only a parent usually can provide. Or a child.

"If I can't have something I want, I fill the void with something else". She hasn't changed really : for now, the something else is Ran's love for her.

She can feel it coming to her in waves and she's addicted to it. The honmei choco she got on Valentine's day touched her more deeply than she could say, because it's probably the first time in her life she got genuine honmei choco.

It doesn't mean she's unconsciously head over heels for Ran. I don't rule out a yuri ending, but Keiko still has a long way to go before considering it a valid option. Because she needs to get closure about that lack of love, before being able to give it back.
