Common English phrase. Note that there is only one 's', you added an extra one. Basically, "you got what you deserved", 'desert' here being a noun form of 'deserve', unrelated to the Sahara desert.

Leg lock is the best thing ever already, but it takes on a new and wonderful dimension when it's in yuri.

Minori Chigusa made great illustrations on her Twitter and the art in this manga is not bad, but I gotta say her writing is pretty weak. Nothing really new about the story or characters in this one and I think the "comedy" is also quite weak if not... cringe? This is what makes a mangaka different from an illustrator.

I'm liking the writing. It's just told more through expression and characterization than plot. My biggest complaint about the writing is simply that them being high schoolers doesn't really make sense for how they are characterized or drawn, this would make a lot more sense to me as college students or young adults.

Also that leg lock scene was perhaps the first time I've seen a scene focus on feet and it add to the feeling of the scene rather than detract from it, because her flexing toes added to the physicality of her squeezing her top in close.

I just saw something interesting JP borrowed the word bitch, but it doesn't mean bitch it means slut which I feel fits better with whats being said in chapter 8
