It can be explained in many different ways. Maybe they're fighting, and wrestling on the ground suddenly leads to sex; or maybe someone decides to go rape a person they hate just "to mess them up". And then, usually, they both like f*cking each other so much that they start having secret encounters just to have sex. Of course, they still hate each other; they just love the sex.

It happens a lot in fiction. I don't know if it exists irl. Probably not.
But feel free to prove me wrong: if you have stories about your own hatesex experiences and want to share with the group, by all means go ahead!
