I love the art for this and the character designs, however after the irritatingly dense mess that is Ayaka and Hiroko I can't handle anymore frustrating dense dynamics, and so this gives me PTSD haha

I liked her better with long hair. I can't believe she cut her beautiful hair.

Then again, this is a short oneshot and the author had a lot to cram in 13 pages. Had it been a long series (actually, with this sort of premise, it should have been a long series) the big moment when she cuts her hair would have come much, much later -- after many chapters of sweet daily life and tender interactions that lead to little romantic progress, pushing a deeply frustrated Ema to do something dramatic akin to flipping a table.
