Omg I love this soooo much! Grandmas have lives (and love lives!) too and it is so nice to see a manga that acknowledges that and in such an incredibly adorable way too. I for one am quite sure this is going to go into proper Yuri territory, there's immediate foreshadowing when the granddaughter says that this would be a good time for granny to find a new love and we already had two of the classic stops to Yuri romance: "she's so pretty!" & "she smells nice". Next chapter she might notice store clerk's eyelashes as well, who knows

The way that the panels are arranged, switching between scenes this is already very movie like. I almost felt like I am watching a movie that's been directed with love and care. It just warms my heart; both the manga arrangement and the main lead opening up to changes despite having inhibitions!

As much as I hate to say it, it just reminds me of my dad.
I've hated him for so long because of that, but now that I see that it's not just us but he's also been toxic to himself because of his attitude that may have been a result of his unfortunate and tough early life; I kinda feel pity for him.
It is what it is.
I hope he may experience some freedom and happiness too.

I think what I like most is that you usually don't see the "adults" become these bumbling messes, but Granny here practically ceased all functions. The chapter was both adorable and heartwarming. Hoping it goes big.

It's pretty tragic that she had to go through her entire adult life being constantly belittled and put down like that :( Sadly, it's far from uncommon for women of her generation. I hope she gets to only feel good about herself from now on and have someone in her life who values her for who she is

^ Welp, now I'm sad :⁠-⁠[ It's hard to really tell how old they are though, the MC could only be around 65 , which isn't THAT old in the grand scheme of things.
