You're probably right. I haven't checked guitar prices in 3X+ years (early 90s). I didn't remember Fender being that expensive even when brand new but that was back in the good ol' days when gas was less than $1 per gallon most places (in the U.S.) and My Space was about the only social media. God I feel old.
