I think it's because it makes the character's interactions all the more weird. I love it.

The translation is the best part.

Just adds to the beauty of this introspective manga, it’s like the author is setting down with us and telling us kids how is life

This chapter deserves a Depressing as fuck chapter in my book, but that's maybe because I am relating too much to the situation where you want to grieve but don't want to cause a scene, so you just bottle it up inside and subconsciously look for a "socially appropriate" opportunity...

She goes from saying she think the normal would be to stop going to see Takahashi to wishing she was there smh. This series has started to get a bit of the depression the last two esh.

This whole series is just looking at parts of myself I forgot existed. Seriously good stuff, I just want them to be happy though!

Nah that's not Takahashi. Without going back through all the chapters to see if she appeared before, i'd wager the married lady is simply one of her readers whom she met before at an event like this, that's why she greets her like that.
