Anyway...

So this is super cute. I'd missed it before, and based on the latest chapter, I thought it was going to be one of those comics with a recurring theme (bugs) where nothing really changes between the characters, but this plot actually clips pretty well and damned if I didn't shed some tears along the way.

Really glad there's going to be more of this, it quickly became one of my favorite reads last year. It's comfy slice of country life a la like non non biyori or yuru camp but with just enough adult women being gay sprinkled on top to really get me .

Wait is the implication that they’re zombies? Considering how fungus relate to insect zombies and the chapter we find out about these fatal injuries is called “fungus gnat”. Pretty suspicious stuff.

Very bizarre extras to a very grounded and wholesome story

If you know the author's other original (very adult) work you'd understand why. This author LOVES weird/creepy stuff (to be honest they're kind of messed up in the head). (The most recent extra chapter with Raika getting hurt and all the blood is some of that messed-up-ness leaking out.) This manga was surprisingly tame given that.
